  • Generic x86_64
  • RaspberryPi 2 and 3
  • RaspberryPi zero and 1

The available LibreELEC versions depend on the hardware/project you select and the files available on our server for that project:

After you selected the hardware/project and version hit the Download button. This will download the selected image to your specified 'Download' folder. You can also select a previously downloaded image file on your machine for installation. Hit the Select file button and browse your computer for the .img.gz file.

Select USB stick or SD card

Select the USB stick or SD card that you want to write the image to. Click on the refresh button if the removable device is not listed.

Write image

After you select the hardware/project, version, and target devices the Write button is available. Click it to write the image.

Writing done

Once the image finishes writing to the USB stick or SD card hit the Close button to exit the LibreELEC USB-SD Creator. If you see an immediate “Write error” please check the write-protect tab on the SD card. This puts the card into read-only mode and writing will fail.
